Charity Foundation Lyra was founded in 2012 by famous Georgian pianist, Elisso Bolkvadze. Foundation’s main goal is to discover and assist young and gifted Georgian piano talents.
Lyra is in a tight collaboration with international foundation SOS Talents – Michel Sogny (Switzerland).
Foundation Lyra also collaborates with Tbilisi E. Mikeladze Central Music School, also Batumi and Kutaisi music schools, where pianist Elisso Bolkvadze holds master classes and auditions regularly.
With the support of Lyra Foundation several young Georgian pianists have already participated in prestigious gala concerts in France, Holland and Switzerland. Some of these concerts were broadcasted by French TV channel Mezzo in 45 countries.
Every year, Foundation Lyra organizes in International Music Festival – Batumi MusicFest, where one of the main goals is to become important platform for young talents.
